Hey seaster,
I spent last weekend exploring the Cabot Trail in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and it was some of the best views I could ever have imagined! Despite the overcast weather, the look off at the Skyline Trail was incredible! It was along the end of a mountain with full view of the ocean ahead and more mountains to the side! I couldn’t believe there were so many mountains in Nova Scotia! The most shocking point is when we ran into a moose along the trail and it scared me half to death! It was so cool and a great reminder to be careful when walking out in nature and keep in mind that you are exploring somebody else’s home and it is important to leave no trace and have minimal impact on the plants and animals living there! Thank goodness it was a female or else we could have been in big trouble!
